As part of our 2024 Season, ChocCity is introducing two levels of play to ensure that everyone has a great and matched experience with us. Each session, we’ll offer Social and Competitive throws - and which you decide to play is totally up to you. Let's break it down:

 

Social (Open) Play - Social play takes place every Thursday as part of our weekly meetups for the portion of the night. It is open to all levels and is the perfect atmosphere to familiarize yourself with the game of cornhole, learn/practice your skills, and connect with other players. There are no official tournaments or obligations to stay on the boards during this time. Just come out, throw, and have fun!

 

Competitive (Tournament) Play - Competitive play will take place following Social Play. This time is reserved for those who want an increased level of competition. Tournament-style play will be common during competitive play, and registration is required via Scoreholio (mobile-friendly). If you want to hone your skills, play multiple games, and give your attention to boards, this style of play is for you. It's not uncommon to play 4+ games a night, spanning a few hours. We encourage everyone to matriculate to competitive play as they grow their cornhnole skill set. 

 

Hosting two levels of play enables us to better accommodate our social and competitive communities - creating a space for players of all kinds. We love it when folks come to throw and vibe, and we love to play cornhole all night!
