Who We Are
ChocCity Cornhole is an amateur cornhole league based in Washington, DC that offers a safe, comfortable, and friendly space for WOC, Queer POC, and allies to play. What started as an excuse to hang out with friends has grown into a weekly league that creates the opportunity for people to build community and nurture the skills for competitive cornhole.
Mission & Vision
ChocCity Cornhole is an amateur cornhole league in Washington, DC, offering a welcoming space for WOC, QBIPOC, and allies to learn and play cornhole. It is our vision to introduce as many individuals in the Washington, DC area to the game of cornhole to help grow the future of cornhole.
Why Cornhole?
Particularly over the last 10 years, cornhole has risen in popularity across the U.S., and has attracted players at all levels - ranging from recreational to competitive. However, when looking at the landscape of players across the sport, there are clear gaps in the audiences that are being reached. For many reasons, WOC and BIPOC aren’t often seen playing socially or competing at higher levels.

ChocCity aims to change that reality - both to improve representation in the sport and to expose these underrepresented communities to the opportunities cornhole can provide.
What do we do?
In addition to hosting weekly social and competitive tournaments, we also hold special charity tournaments and social events. ChocCity is also available to organize cornhole events for a variety of different corporate, nonprofit, and social groups. We love to bring cornhole to our communities!
